It's come to dawn on me that this blog, called Closing Time (about the closeout of our senior year) is now inappropriately named. Except, we're still all closing out our time together. We've got a couple of months till we split, and rarely see each other again.
It really hasn't dawned on me that Josh Jankot is going to be the only friend (and to be honest, Josh and I are on perfectly good terms, but we just don't know each other that well to be really good friends. Maybe yet) I see more than once ever couple of months. Think about that now, it's freaky.
Which is why we need days like this rainy day in Gloucester. Did it sound like a dumb idea? Yes. Was it a whole lot of fun? Also yes. I spent a cool day playing games with people I've seen a lot (Matt, Natalie, Sasha, Jack, Kate), some I haven't seen so much (Mallory, Samantha, Resa, Schram, Peter, PJ, Mar), and one I haven't seen in like 6 months barring the hug at graduation (Betsy). I'm sure I forgot somebody in there cause I'm dumb; I apologize, but I had fun seeing you too. It was a good day. Like every good day there was one tense moment with one person but well... every day has it's down moment. If you can only put your fingers on one such moment, it was a really good day.
There's more stuff I could talk about, but it's been a good day. And I'll let it sit at that.
