Welcome to college.
My roomate just comes in almost in tears, stops and says to us: "You know, it's usually a good idea to take your cell phone out of your pocket before you put it in the laundry." He then holds up the battered thing which spent half an hour in the washer and an hour in the dryer.
It won't turn on - I offered to do invasive surgery to try and clean it up, but he wanted to try one more thing first.
He plugged it in. And the fucking thing turned on.
That's durable technology.
