So this is the kind of stuff senior summer is supposed to be made of.

Today was a good day.

First off, Ry and Natalie came in on AIDS Ride and we went into Boston to see them come in; for anyone who's manged to remain unfamiliar with it, AIDS Ride is a 260 mile bike ride from I think Bear Mountain New York to Boston, over four days to raise money for AIDS research. Each rider has to come up with at least $2700, and there are at least a couple of hundred riders so it's a huge fundraiser and an incredible achievment. This was Ry's third year doing the ride, and Natalie's first. I can't tell you how impressed I am with them both. Well, we went to see them come in, and it was awesome.

Then we came home, and we went to see Addison Groove in town! Anyone who was there knows the show was good, but I also got to see tons of cool people; Leah, Smitty, Caleb, Leslie, hell it was even sorta fun to see Eisen. She's not all that bad when we don't have to see each other every day. Plus I got to meet three people: Schram's friend Brett, Christine's friend Elizabeth, and some girl Katie and Alexis are working with... I didn't actually get her name.

Ok. I'm gonna say this once, and only once. Then it will be out of my system. That girl who's name I didn't know? Fucking gorgeous.

That said, it was fun meeting them. To be honest, Brett gave me a bad feeling from the get go and my feelings were well explained when later he made a remark about Katie looking pregnant (which was fucking bullshit I might add), didn't know what Casablanca is (that is, not even that it was a movie), and then continued to dig a hole being a dick. On the other hand Elizabeth, who I did get to talk to a bit, was really nice. She's from Lansing, and I'm not sure how long she's gonna be here but I'd like to see her again, get to talk to her more. We were watching a movie, so it wasn't condusive, you know? And Katie and Alexis' friend, well first impressions aside she also seemed like a really great girl. I didn't talk to her much, she was getting to know Brett (clearly NOT that positive an experience, although a learning one), but she seemed really cool. Apparantly she's staying with Alexis while they're working for this camp, so I hope I'll see her some more.

So we all (Me Sasha Schram Kate Katie Christine Maggie Jack Mallory Elizabeth Alexis and the girl I don't know... yeah, Brett was shitdicktastic enough to LEAVE) watched Casablanca, a movie I clearly needed to see. There's a reason it's a classic, it was really good. Colorized, which was odd, but it was really really good.

I don't have a whole lot more to say, cause we were tired and left. But hey. This was a good day, and it was because I have really good friends. I'm not sure how I'm gonna manage without you guys next year.
