So I actually checked my stats on my tracker today.... almost 600 hits, almost 500 unique. Probably means at least a hundred people reading this. Wacky.
Most importantly, I looked at where my readers are coming from, and among other things I've gotten 32 hits from Chris's blog. Well... I'm a big believer in giving back, and I hadn't realized that I was actually getting linked to from other people. So I updated my links on the side (look to the left, and probably down) to reflect other blogs I read and I think you might be interested to read.
Just a few other interesting tidbits:
Almost 27% percent of all hits are from Mac users. Myself, Sasha, Jack, maybe Kate Taylor? .... in general though, I must be missing a few of you.
Less than half of the Windows users visiting my site are using XP. Most are using a form of Windows 98 (likely ME, which responds the same way)
Almost 90% are using Internet Explorer, of some version or another. I declare the browser war over.
Remarkably, 38% of you are using 800x600 monitor resolution. I didn't know -anybody- still used low resolution.... shows what I know. Have you tried going into either your desktop properties (windows) or your monitor prefs, and going up to 1024x768? I find it infinitely preferable, as do 41% of my readers. You get more screen real estate.
My popularity peaked around the time I got into trouble, and has dropped off since then. My most active day was three days after the incident. I hope most of the drop in popularity is due to the fact that I've not been blogging much as I tried to get a normal sense of life again.
Oh, and just so I'm not COMPLETELY freaking you out: most bloggers can't tell all of this. I installed a tracker into my blog because I was curious. I blog because I want you guys to read it, but because I want you guys to read, I'm curious as to who you are.
