About where you write your blogs:

As John Curran posts a blog about how HIS computer died after writing a great blog entry (he now makes I think the eighth person, myself included, to have that happen to just that I've spoken with. And I only read maybe 10 blogs), the thought of writing long blogs in a word processor appeals. Apparantly, that's what Jack did, just instinctively and then pasted it in.

If I wrote my blogs in Word, where everything autosaves damn near every minute, I wouldn't lose as much if it died. In fact, I would keep 90% of my long blogs. But to do that, I'd have to know how long I'm going to write every time, or just blog in Word all the time.

Just an idea to propose to you all - blogging in a word proccessor, preferably one that autosaves. I know I'll never do it - but I thought I'd mention it.
