Ok. As much as he's complimented me on my blog and such, I can't say enough for DeSantis' blog. Everything about it is brilliant and perfect for him - the address, dontgiveafuck.blogspot.com, is clear and honest. He doesn't give two shits about who reads what he says there or what it causes. That's DeSantis for you. The title - Whatever and Ever Amen, the title of a fantastic Ben Folds Five CD mostly about the absurdity of life and people who care too much, but also about deeper acceptance of inevitable truth. Today's blog was the single most hilariously honest thing I've ever read, because I GUARENTEE YOU he and I are not the only people to consider such things.

So read DeSantis' blog about roomates and shit on yesterday (since it's now 1:00 AM), august 10th. And he started out well, talking about how he hoped for only 1 roomate because it would be easier to be friends and get along, and how if he had 2 or more he couldn't control whether or not THEY got along, and his room dynamic could get fucked up.

Then he went down hill - he asked if we'd pondered where the hell we were going to jack off. Hmmm. Well, yes actually I have considered the thought. I bet all of you have. With the front door usually being open and four people having keys, it will NOT be doable in the room... the bathroom, eh well that's kinda uptight which can ruin it. He also said internet porn would be a problem, and he's right. I'd basically kinda decided/hoped it would cause me to give it up. As it is it still sorta feels like a bad habit, like a blown up version of biting my nails. I've got three roomates - it's basically gotta end. God knows what happens when one of us brings a girl back.... nobody has ANY semblance of privacy. People just gotta be open I guess. But I doubt that means whipping it out on your own.

Jack wanted to respond and even made a blog w/ which to do so, but just like I needed to make a huge gap he couldn't advertise his blog to the public if THAT was the only post in it. Way to fuck himself over with lots of girls - so he didn't do it. I was joking around that we could have a secret "guys talking about how to deal w/ porn and masturbation" forum..... and he laughs. so I said I could have it up in 15 minutes or less and he's like that would be excellent.... hilarious.... or both.
