Alex, and anyone else considering it (having seen it done), I would STRONGLY suggest you -not- implement a commenting engine in your blog. The reality is the real commentators either blog themselves, or at least speak to you, and commenting engines inevitably fall to flames and spam.
I highly doubt the forum will be used, again through experience - but you know I'll show up.
And everyone, it's 5:20 PM on Thursday and I'm on my way home - I should be home around 11:00 at night, and although tired if I get a call on my cell around then I'll probably be game since I'll likely sleep on the plane.
