So tonight I was feeling like shit so I watched a lot of TV - and one of the things I watched was, again, one of my favorite shows - all five episodes (almost, fucking President Bush took over the last episode with his stupid declaration of war) of VH1's 100 Greatest One Hit Wonders of All Time.

And then I got an idea, realizing how much great old music and new music was in this list... and I went online tonight and got the list. And I filtered through it, and out of 100 I picked 50 that I thought were worth listening to. And I downloaded them all, and made a playlist. In there are forgotten classics, previously unknown (to me at least) gems, and some songs that some people might scream if they knew were there - either way, it's one badass mother fucking playlist of music I wouldn't usually listen to. Right onto my iPod it goes!! Well, after I delete 235 megabytes of music to free up space for it....

Maybe the coolest part of the thing was when I downloaded 99 Luftballons - a german, 80's, anti war song. Funny shit is, I can actually UNDERSTAND a lot of it. It's always cool to me when I realize how much german I learned and still know... it never felt that way when I was studying for and/or failing tests.

Anyhow. Anybody who wants the package, bring me a CD if you're in town or if you're not, well, negotiate with me - I may zip the whole thing up and send it to you, if you really want it :)
