Jesus.... if you blog it, they will come. 95 hits yesterday - and I know most people don't give a shit, but it just surprised me since my last record was 79. I know I wrote a lot but I did on the day I set 79 as well - and you guys just blew it out of the water.

I really didn't think I was going to start writing about specific people until just days before I left, but as the future looks I may not be ABLE to in those days, and so I'd have to finish once I got to school which seems unlikely. Not only will I be incredibly busy meeting people, I'll probably be missing the hell out of you.

Another problem becomes immediately apparant as I think of this - when I get to school, my blogging will be so full of new things but probably slowed by time. So many of you may not read it as often, and may not get the message I'm about to give.

I had intended, have intended, and still intend, to create a public forum for use among our friends, our aquaintances, and anyone from the Wellesley area who wanted to keep in some semblance of touch. I'm not talking about some cheap bullshit easy forum like the ones I've used to discuss topics - I'm talking about the real deal. Name/handle registration, side pics (a picture of your choice by your posts, adds a visual aspect), collapsed topics of unlimited size, a better graphical layout, and basically just an online community. To discuss whatever the fuck you want, or just talk about what's going on, and just ..... everything.

I'd been told not to put it up until after people got to school.... so I think I won't. But I want people to know it's going to be there, because goddamnit I hope you'll use it. Not only because I want a way to keep in touch with you, but because I really hope that if you guys all have a way to stay in touch with each other we really might be less separated come Thanksgiving break. It's the first few months that scare me the most.
